An updated version the famous Greek myth about why we have Winter. Persephone, a restless teen who discovers her talent for communicating with the dead, picks the narcissus voluntarily [or so it seems] and travels with Hades to the Underworld. Hades plans to make her his queen, but in the musical Persephone has a mind of her own. Much to her mother Demeter's dismay, Persephone falls in love with the Underworld king. The music is rock, the gods are threatened by impending veganism and Zeus is impulsive, bossy, and not the brightest bulb in the lava lamp.
